The Prime Minister awarded certificates of merit to four martyrs of the Ministry of Public Security and two martyrs of Dak Lak province, who died on June 11 in Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, Cu Kuin district.
According to the Prime Minister 's decision dated June 12, the martyrs who were awarded the Certificate of Merit include: Major Hoang Trung and Captain Nguyen Dang Nhan, Ea Ktur commune police; Major Tran Quoc Thang and Captain Ha Tuan Anh, Ea Tieu commune police; Party Secretary, Chairman of Ea Ktur commune People's Council Nguyen Van Kien; Chairman of Ea Tieu commune People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung.

The Ministry of Public Security's electronic information portal reported that in the early morning of June 11, a group of people on motorbikes used guns and dangerous weapons to attack and destroy the People's Committee headquarters and the offices of the Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur commune police, Cu Kuin district. The consequences resulted in the deaths of 4 police officers, 2 commune officials and 3 residents, and 2 police officers being seriously injured.
By noon on June 12, 27 suspects involved in the attack on the People's Committee headquarters of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes had been arrested; a number of military weapons, including CKC rifles, had been confiscated.
Lieutenant General To An Xo, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Security, said that authorities are actively pursuing the remaining members of the attack group.
This afternoon, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang visited and shared the loss of the families of the victims after the two People's Committee headquarters of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes were attacked.
