Quang Ngai On the way to take his 11-year-old son to school, Mr. Ly Xuan Loc collided with a truck, both fell and were hit and killed by a tractor-trailer on the morning of September 6.

At approximately 6:00 AM, Mr. Loc, 39 years old, the head of the militia in Binh Hiep commune, Binh Son district, was taking his 6th-grade son to school on National Highway 1A. Upon reaching Binh Hiep market, Mr. Loc's motorbike collided with a truck driven by Truong Quang Khoa (32 years old) that was reversing out of a house.

Mr. Loc and his son fell onto the road and were hit and killed by a tractor trailer driven by Dao Van Anh (32 years old) heading south. The motorbike was damaged. This is the second day the boy has entered junior high school after the opening ceremony yesterday.

The accident caused traffic disruption for several hours. Authorities examined the scene and allowed traffic to resume.

National Highway 1A from Truong Quang Trong Ward, Quang Ngai City to Binh Son District is usually very crowded. In addition to trucks and container trailers, there are many vehicles of residents, students, workers, and laborers working in Dung Quat Economic Zone passing by.
