Accordingly, the embankment reinforcement project is more than 2.048km long, running along the Bo River through Phong An ward and Phong Son commune (Phong Dien town); of which the newly built section is more than 1.5km long and the repaired section is more than 0.5km long.

Specifically, the embankment project through Phong An ward is more than 1.7 km long; of which the newly built section is more than 1.2 km long. The scale of the embankment crest through this area is reinforced with M200 concrete combined with a 3m wide sidewalk, paved with terrazzo tiles, arranged with green tree markers, creating a landscape; the embankment body is compacted with soil reaching K=0.9, the embankment roof is inclined or vertical wall combined with sloping roof reinforced with concrete. The embankment section through Phong Son commune is newly built with a length of nearly 0.3 km; of which the scale is the embankment crest structure that changes according to the natural ground surface and is reinforced with M250 concrete, arranged with markers on the embankment crest; the embankment body is compacted with soil reaching K=0.9 and the roof is reinforced with 30cm thick dry paving stones in a M250 reinforced concrete bracing system, below is a 10cm thick layer of crushed stone and a layer of geotextile.

Provincial Road 11B along Bo River will be guaranteed safety and no erosion when the embankment project is completed.

Mr. Ho Huu Phu, Director of the Phong Dien Town Construction Investment Project Management Board, said that the project has completed all procedures to start construction in early March 2025.

The project's goal upon completion is to ensure stability of the Bo River bank and protect Provincial Road 11B through Hien Si village, Phong Son commune; at the same time, ensure safety for 150 households in Bo Dien residential area (Phong An ward), contributing to completing traffic planning in this area.
