Since the end of May, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee has organized training courses to improve knowledge and skills in propaganda and mobilization in ethnic minority areas for 600 prestigious people, dignitaries and officials in the province.

Specifically, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee organized 5 training conferences to foster knowledge and skills in propaganda and mobilization in ethnic minority areas for prestigious people, shamans, sorcerers, representatives of typical clans, dignitaries and religious officials in localities.

The conferences were held in the following commune clusters: Nam Luc, Coc Lau, Ban Cai (Bac Ha district), Duong Quy, Chieng Ken (Van Ban district); Trinh Tuong, Nam Chac, Coc My (Bat Xat district). Each conference had 120 delegates attending.

Through training conferences, prestigious people are provided with knowledge and guided in propaganda skills, mobilizing people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, promoting socio -economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, building cultural life in residential areas, reforming backward customs in weddings, funerals, festivals, etc.

According to the plan, in 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee will organize 12 training conferences to foster knowledge and skills in propaganda and mobilization in ethnic minority areas for more than 1,400 prestigious people, dignitaries, and religious officials in the districts of Bat Xat, Muong Khuong, Bac Ha, Bao Yen, Bao Thang, and Van Ban.

The organization of training conferences is carried out according to Project 17-DA/TU dated December 11, 2020 of the 16th Lao Cai Provincial Party Executive Committee on "improving the effectiveness of political , ideological, propaganda and mobilization work in Lao Cai province for the period 2020 - 2025".
