85 works won prizes in the composition contest on the 60th anniversary of the founding of Quang Ninh province

Of these, 41 works were in the field of literature and art, including 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 11 third prizes, 18 consolation prizes and 2 authors received certificates of merit. 44 works were in the field of journalism, including: 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 14 third prizes and 15 consolation prizes.

The four first prizes in the field of literature and art went to the works “Immense Northeast Sea and Sky” by Vu Thao Ngoc; “Who returns to my homeland” by Bui Tuan Ngoc; “Ha Long Bay – Heritage – Wonder” by Do Dinh Kha; and “Returning to the source” by Le Van Chinh.

The 5 First Prizes in the field of journalism went to the works: "Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee - 60 years of steadfastness for the country and the people", "Traffic works creating the Quang Ninh brand", "Quang Ninh - Television chronicle" by authors and groups of authors from the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center and "Self-respect in escaping poverty and improving the quality of new rural areas in Quang Ninh", "Aspiration for connection and belief in mutual victory" by groups of authors from the Voice of Vietnam.

The contest was launched by the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee to review the heroic and glorious revolutionary tradition of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province over 60 years of construction and development.

After nearly 5 months of launching, as of September 5, there were 1,253 works by 640 authors participating in the contest. Of which, the field of literature and art had 1,032 works participating in the contest in 5 genres: literature, music , fine arts, photography, and theater. The field of journalism had 221 works participating in the contest in 5 genres including print, radio, television, electronic newspapers, and photojournalism.

According to the Organizing Committee, the works basically adhered to the criteria and rules of the contest. The content focused on praising the heroic and glorious revolutionary tradition of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province over 60 years of construction and development.
