Runner-up Phuong Thanh tries her hand at professional theater for the first time

Runner-up Phuong Thanh has just made a new mark in her journey to pursue her passion for art when she took on two main roles in a play participating in the National Professional Stage Arts Festival.

Today, June 26, 1st runner-up of Miss Vietnam Do Thi Phuong Thanh had her first chance to try her hand at a professional art playground with profound social significance when she took on two challenging roles in the play "Sunshine Sunset . "

“This is a big challenge, because the two characters belong to two generations, two different psychological colors. How to make each role have its own soul, not blending in but still highlighting the character's nature in the same play is what worries me the most. But that contrast is an opportunity for me to deepen my acting, expand my ability to transform and master the rhythm of emotions on stage, ” Phuong Thanh shared.

Recognized for her confident expressive ability, natural stage presence and character handling skills, Phuong Thanh has proven her maturity in the performing arts field after the Miss Vietnam National pageant.

Having completed two difficult roles, she expressed her gratitude for the experiences she had: “ Participating in the play is like giving myself the opportunity to see and feel life from a different perspective, perspectives that cannot always be experienced. Especially, for this play that promotes the spirit and noble responsibility of the people's police, Thanh has the opportunity to better understand the duties and family life of a police officer. From there, I love and cherish even more the peace that I have at present. ”

It is known that previously, the play “Sunny Sunset” (co-produced by 3 art units: Center for Stage and Development, University of Military Culture and Arts and Vietnam Drama Theater) passed the preliminary round on June 20 and competed in the 5th National Professional Stage Arts Festival with the theme of the image of the people's police soldier to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Police Traditional Day, 20 years of the National Day for National Security Protection.

In it, runner-up Phuong Thanh plays two main roles as the wife and daughter of the central character Phong - a police officer who participated in breaking up a transnational drug case.

Runner-up Phuong Thanh possesses a sweet, elegant beauty with an ideal figure and height. She is currently a graduate student majoring in Stage Arts and is also a teaching assistant at the Department of Stage, Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema.

After being crowned as runner-up, Phuong Thanh still maintains her studies and work in Hanoi, and continues to accompany the top 3 Miss Vietnam National in artistic activities./.
