ADB wants to build a "healing" tourism model in Ha Tinh

(Baohatinh.vn) - In the trend of more and more Vietnamese people choosing to leave the city, seek nature and tranquility to heal both physically and mentally, ADB aims to develop "healing" tourism, taking advantage of the mountains, forests and nature to attract tourists to experience Ha Tinh.

On the morning of August 19, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) had a working session with representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh to summarize the delegation's consultation survey on the implementation of contents related to the project "Promoting innovation in regional cooperation and integration after the consequences of COVID-19".

The ADB-funded project "Promoting innovation in regional cooperation and integration in the aftermath of COVID-19" aims to promote sustainable tourism development in Ha Tinh in the post-COVID-19 context.

After working from August 12 to now, the relevant parties have discussed the survey results, identifying the potential and advantages of Ha Tinh tourism, including Son Kim 2 commune.

ADB has proposed solutions to build and develop sustainable tourism, promote some outstanding tourism products; organize training on tourism skills for people in the community, train tour guides; develop tour routes, destination promotion skills, connect and build destinations; use artificial intelligence to build tourism strategies.

Expert Tran Nu Ngoc Anh - a member of the delegation spoke about some potentials, advantages and possible risks when developing tourism in Ha Tinh.

At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh accepted the opinions of ADB; affirmed that they will continue to build a sustainable tourism development strategy; have plans to connect border provinces; closely coordinate with the working group during the implementation process to carry out the project on schedule and achieve the best results.

Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh province hope for ADB's support and at the same time propose some solutions for sustainable tourism development in Ha Tinh.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with localities, people, organizations and businesses to build Son Kim 2 into a resort - ecological - border tourism center, associated with hot spring tourism, primeval forests and trade through Cau Treo International Border Gate, attracting international tourists to explore and experience.
