On the morning of August 19th, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) held a meeting with representatives from the Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to summarize the delegation's consultation survey on the implementation of contents related to the project "Promoting Innovation in Regional Cooperation and Integration in the Post-COVID-19 Consequences".

The ADB-funded project "Promoting Innovation in Regional Cooperation and Integration in the Post-COVID-19 Era," aimed at fostering sustainable tourism development in Ha Tinh province in the post-COVID-19 context, was developed in the province.
Following the work conducted from August 12th to the present, the relevant parties have exchanged information on the survey results, identifying the potential and advantages of tourism in Ha Tinh province, including Son Kim 2 commune.
ADB has proposed solutions for building and developing sustainable tourism, promoting several outstanding tourism products; organizing tourism skills training for local communities, training tour guides; developing tour routes, destination promotion skills, and connecting destination development; and using artificial intelligence to build tourism strategies.

In the context of an increasing trend among Vietnamese people choosing to leave the city and seek nature and tranquility to heal both physically and mentally, the group is orienting itself towards developing "healing" tourism, leveraging the advantages of the mountainous and natural landscapes to attract tourists to experience it in Ha Tinh.
At the same time, we hope that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will work together with Son Kim 2 commune to select some products such as tea hills and hot springs to develop high-quality tourism products; paying attention to issues such as security and order, and food safety and hygiene.
During the meeting, representatives from the Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism acknowledged the ADB's feedback; affirmed their commitment to continuing to develop a sustainable tourism development strategy; planning for connectivity among border provinces; and closely coordinating with the working group during implementation to ensure the project is completed on schedule and achieves the best possible results.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with local authorities, residents, and organizations and businesses to develop Son Kim 2 into a border tourism and eco-tourism center, linked with hot spring tourism, primeval forests, and trade through the Cau Treo International Border Gate, attracting international tourists to explore and experience it.
