Efforts to increase the value of Vietnamese coconuts in the international market
The coconut industry is one of the important agricultural industries in Vietnam, playing a key role in economic development in the Mekong Delta region. Of which, Vinh Long province (after the merger) currently has nearly 120,000 hectares of coconut, accounting for more than 50% of the country's coconut growing area. In 2024, the export turnover of coconut and coconut products from Vietnam will reach 1.089 billion USD.
As a leading enterprise providing comprehensive raw material solutions for the food and life science industries, Asia Ingredients Group (AIG) has, since the early days of establishing ACP in the "coconut capital" of Vietnam, oriented ACP to become a pioneer in deep processing, connecting farmers, businesses and localities to contribute to increasing the value of Vietnamese coconuts in the international market.

Currently, ACP operates a modern coconut processing factory with advanced production technology transferred from Germany and Switzerland, supplying a variety of products to the domestic and international markets such as: canned coconut water under the Vico Fresh brand, dried coconut meat, coconut milk powder, coconut milk, coconut oil... with international certifications BRC, FSSC 22000, HACCP, Halal, Kosher, USDA and EU Organic...
At the meeting on July 25, Vice Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Nguyen Quynh Thien commented that ACP has many important contributions to the local economic growth, especially the active role in developing the coconut material area, which is the main material of Vinh Long province. The investment in applying deep processing technology according to international standards and the model of close cooperation with farmers of ACP not only ensures the source of raw materials, but also contributes to improving the lives of households in the coconut area.

Asia Ingredient Group (AIG) is investing in ACP to develop an organic coconut material area of nearly 10,000 hectares in Vinh Long. At the same time, AIG is also implementing a plan to build a new coconut processing factory with large scale and modern technology, to effectively exploit the available potential of Vinh Long, as well as affirm the position of Vietnam's coconut industry on the world agricultural map.
AIG pioneers in developing deep processing associated with raw material areas
In an effort to realize the aspiration of bringing raw materials from Vietnamese agricultural products to the global market based on strategic pillars: sustainable development of raw material areas, product research, investment in modern processing technology and building Vietnamese agricultural product brands with global stature, AIG identifies investing in deep processing factories associated with raw material areas as a key solution.

During more than 2 decades of development, AIG has invested and developed an ecosystem of member companies operating modern factories in famous agricultural regions of Vietnam. Along with Asia Coconut Processing Joint Stock Company (ACP) leading the production of coconut products in Vinh Long, AIG currently owns Asia Hoa Son Joint Stock Company (AHS) in Nghe An specializing in producing raw materials from cassava, Asia Specialty Ingredients Company (ASI) specializing in producing essential oils and natural aromatics from endemic ingredients such as cinnamon, star anise, basil in Hung Yen, Mekong Delta Gourmet Company (MDG) in Tay Ninh specializing in producing puree juice, fresh fruit juice, IQF frozen fruit from Vietnamese tropical vegetables...
In addition to their production role, the factories are also research and innovation centers to maximize the advantages and value of local agricultural products. Furthermore, by investing in factories right in the raw material areas, AIG has also contributed to promoting a sustainable socio-economic development model in each locality.
