In the rematch on the evening of May 23rd, both teams maintained the same starting lineups as in their first encounter. Accordingly, both Hanoi and Nha Trang representatives fielded a starting lineup consisting of two domestic players, two players of Asian origin, and one foreign player.

In the first quarter, Nha Trang Dolphins started well but were quickly overtaken by the relentless attack of Hanoi Buffaloes. The guard-forward duo of Lian Ramiro and AJ Bramah continued to be key players, appearing at every crucial moment. Implementing a proactive style of play, coupled with four sharp three-pointers, the home team exploded into a 38-20 lead.

In the second quarter, the tide turned as Cleveland guard Jackson helped the Nha Trang Dolphins improve their game plan. His high-quality assists allowed the 2.08m tall center Makhel Mitchell and other key players to showcase their strengths. Thanks to their chasing efforts and a surprise late three-pointer from Hua Ky Anh, "Ut Phins" confidently closed the gap on the home team, leading 53-56.

In the third quarter, returning after the break, the team from Nha Trang continued to find their rhythm. The teamwork of coach Todd Purves's players helped the visiting team quickly equalize the score. Adding to this, the brilliance of the Mongolian duo and Nguyen Duong Quang Anh allowed the visiting team to take the lead 85-80.

At the start of the decisive quarter, AJ Bramah unleashed his full potential, driving his team to a strong comeback. The American forward even forced his opponent, center Makhel Mitchell, to commit an unsportsmanlike foul. By brilliantly executing two free throws, AJ Bramah helped Hanoi Buffaloes turn the tide, leading 88-87. Capitalizing on this momentum, other key players of the "Capital City Buffaloes" quickly re-established a lead of around 10 points.

With a spirited comeback, Hanoi Buffaloes secured a 111-101 victory. AJ Bramah, the hero who led Hanoi Buffaloes to win, was named Player of the Game with 35 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists.

“Our opponents tonight gave us a lot of trouble. However, the whole team united and turned things around to win. Although I missed some opportunities, I still feel I’ve improved. Above all, the Hanoi Buffaloes fans are amazing. They are so passionate and have given us so much positive energy. I really appreciate that,” AJ Bramah shared.

Entering the game with over 30 points scored in the first quarter, it seemed Hanoi Buffaloes would continue their dominant performance. However, the resilience and persistence of Nha Trang Dolphins in the second and third quarters forced the home team to redouble their efforts. With a well-balanced squad and many key players in top form, the "Capital City Buffaloes" still confidently finished the game with a convincing victory.

Statistically, coach Matt Van Pelt's team still has the edge in most key metrics such as shooting efficiency (51% vs. 48%), rebounds (50 vs. 44), and assists (20 vs. 15).
