An Giang: Appointing Commune and Ward Party Secretaries to participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Regional Defense Command

Colonel Cao Minh Tam, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Commissar of the Provincial Military Command attended the decision-giving ceremony at the Defense Command of Region 6 - Ngoc Chuc.

Colonel Cao Minh Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of An Giang Provincial Military Command, presented the decision to the ward and commune Party Secretaries.

According to the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, 102 comrades were appointed as Party Secretaries of communes, wards and special zones to participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Regional Defense Command.

Of which, 22 Secretaries participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Long Phu; 32 Secretaries participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Long Xuyen; 14 Secretaries participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Defense Command of Region 3 - Kien Luong; 3 Secretaries participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Defense Command of Region 4 - Phu Quoc Special Zone; 13 Secretaries participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Defense Command of Region 5 - An Bien and 18 Secretaries participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Defense Command of Region 6 - Ngoc Chuc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Cao Minh Tam, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the An Giang Provincial Military Command, affirmed that the appointment of commune and ward Party Secretaries to participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Regional Defense Command is an important policy to strengthen the direct, absolute, and comprehensive leadership role of the Party Committee in local military and defense work.

This is also a step to concretize the policy of building a strong and comprehensive provincial (municipal) defense zone, in which the grassroots Party committees and authorities are the core forces.

Colonel Cao Minh Tam asked the newly assigned comrades to uphold their sense of responsibility, promote their role as political core, promptly direct and organize the implementation of national defense and military tasks in the locality; regularly maintain close contact with the Regional Defense Command, creating high unity in leadership, command and operation.

At the conference, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the An Giang Provincial Military Party Committee awarded the decision to appoint 18 commune and ward secretaries to participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Defense Command of Region 6 - Ngoc Chuc.
