An Minh admits 8,219 new youth union members

In the 2019-2024 term, the work of the Youth Union, Association and youth movement of An Minh district has many innovations, going into depth, diversifying the content, close to the local political tasks, the content of the Resolution of the Youth Union and Association congresses at all levels. The Association at all levels has coordinated to open 150 training classes on science and technology transfer; newly established 2 cooperatives, 1 cooperative, bringing the total number of youth cooperatives in the district to 5, with 140 members; introducing jobs to 2,515 young people.

The Youth Union at all levels carried out 7 district-level youth projects; 115 grassroots-level youth projects. The grassroots Youth Union actively promoted the implementation of 15 household tasks in participating in new rural construction; built 10 houses for poor households and disadvantaged youth with a total cost of 300 million VND; recruited 8,219 new members...

With the slogan of action "Innovation - Creativity - Solidarity - Aspiration - Development", the 7th Congress, term 2024-2029, sets out the following targets: Organizing and mobilizing youth volunteers to donate 1,600 units of blood; striving to build at least 10 district-level youth projects; building 110 grassroots youth projects or tasks; introducing jobs to 2,500 young people, of whom at least 1,000 young people have stable jobs; developing 8,000 new members; developing 1 affiliated association in a non-state enterprise...

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of An Minh district awarded certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 10 individuals with good achievements in launching emulation movements to implement the Resolution of the Congresses at all levels of the Vietnam Youth Union of An Minh district, term 2019-2024.
