Sharing her feelings while directly handing out gifts to flood victims, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet said emotionally: “Ca Mau, a remote land in the South, but when Central Vietnam faces hardship, we always consider it a shared concern of our people. Each gift may not be large, but it represents the heartfelt wishes of Buddhists and the people of Ca Mau, hoping that our compatriots will soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.”
A pillar for connection and dissemination.
Playing a core role in social security work, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province continues to effectively promote its role in gathering, mobilizing, and connecting social resources. In 2025, many programs will be implemented synchronously, such as building solidarity houses, caring for poor households and policy beneficiary families, supporting livelihoods, and providing disaster relief..., all aiming towards the overarching goal: "Leaving no one behind."
The work of caring for the people's lives is regularly and thoroughly implemented by the Fatherland Front at the local level.
The work of mobilizing funds for the poor and other social security resources has always received close attention and guidance from Party committees and authorities at all levels; close coordination from various sectors and organizations; and responsible support from the business community, organizations, and individuals inside and outside the province.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, emphasized: "Through major movements and campaigns, a sense of responsibility and compassion has been awakened in each organization and individual. Social security is not only a task of the State, but has become a common cause of the whole society."
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province plays a pivotal role as a bridge for social welfare, connecting resources to provide timely support to poor households and those in difficult circumstances.
Not only did the people of Ca Mau receive support from forces within the province, but in 2025, they also received timely assistance from many agencies, units, and charitable groups in other localities. A prime example is the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's "Effective Mass Mobilization" delegation, which visited Ca Mau and distributed over 400 gifts to students and impoverished people in An Trach and Dat Mui communes, totaling 420 million VND.
Comrade Ta Quoc Trung, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, shared: “Each trip back to the roots reminds us that we must carry out propaganda and mass mobilization work with sincerity and genuine sharing. The gifts may not be large, but they represent sincere feelings, hoping to provide more motivation for the people to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.”
The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department visited An Trach commune to present gifts to impoverished residents.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Dang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Trach commune, expressed: "The attention and support from the delegations not only helps people alleviate immediate difficulties, but also serves as a great source of encouragement for the local Party committee and government to continue striving to improve the lives of the people."
Looking back at 2025, it can be affirmed that social responsibility in Ca Mau is not a series of isolated activities, but a continuous stream of human kindness and community cohesion. From sturdy bridges and compassionate homes to timely gifts and relief efforts spanning thousands of kilometers, all of these have been spreading goodness and fostering faith and hope among the people.
