More information

After the introduction of the digital exhibition program "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa of Vietnam - Historical and legal evidence" organized by the Department of Information and Communications in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, the People's Committee of Ham Thuan Nam district, more than 2,500 students, teachers, and workers of two schools, Luong The Vinh High School and Ham Thuan Nam High School, attentively watched a clip showing many valuable documents and publications affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. Specifically, documents, Nguyen Dynasty records, ancient maps of Vietnam and maps of Western countries recorded Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, and maps of China recorded that the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos do not belong to China.

In addition to information about the potential of the sea and islands, the Party and State's policies and guidelines in solving issues related to the sea and islands, students and teachers participated in quickly answering questions from reporters of the Provincial Border Guard Command. The questions revolved around the geographical location and area of the sea and islands of Vietnam in general and the sea and islands of Binh Thuan in particular. For each question, many hands were raised to volunteer to answer, making the Q&A atmosphere lively and exciting. The photo exhibition corner attracted many students to come and see and discuss enthusiastically.

Pham Dieu Hien, a student of class 11A3 (Ham Thuan Nam High School) shared: Through this digital exhibition, I and other friends have grasped more details, content and documents affirming that Hoang Sa and Truong Sa belong to Vietnam, presented through the application of information technology - video clip projection. At the same time, we have expanded information about the local sea and islands in a truly engaging atmosphere. From there, I and my friends love our country even more and will try to study to build our homeland.
