These days, every street in Hanoi is filled with the atmosphere of celebrating the anniversary, parades, and marches to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
From decorating with flags, flowers, billboards, slogans to setting up miniatures, installing stands, large screens… all items are being urgently deployed.
The construction team works continuously to ensure every detail is completed on schedule, providing the best service to the people and visitors before the important occasion.
At Ba Dinh Square, a 5-storey steel grandstand with a capacity of 30,000 seats along Doc Lap Street, facing President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is being urgently constructed and completed.
This grandstand is where delegates and guests are welcomed on the main ceremony day. At the same time, the stage area on the left side of the Mausoleum is also being urgently completed, ensuring synchronization before the A80 ceremony takes place.
On many streets around Ba Dinh Square such as Hung Vuong Street, Thanh Nien Street, etc., it is easy to see white painted lines and symbols written on the road surface. These are landmarks that determine the assembly locations of the parade groups on the rehearsal day and the official ceremony.
Every little detail is carefully prepared to ensure the parade formation is neat and synchronized.
In parallel, Hanoi is installing more than 1,000 mobile toilets at central locations, along with large LED screens to help people watch the event in the most convenient way.
Urban beautification projects such as resurfacing sidewalks, renovating flower beds, and cleaning the environment are also being urgently implemented, creating a fresh look for the capital before the big holiday.
On the streets, the red color of the national flag, banners, and slogan billboards were brilliant, creating a jubilant, excited atmosphere.
Many locals and tourists took the opportunity to check-in and capture memorable moments next to the decorations celebrating National Day.
All of these efforts work together in a bustling rhythm, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and pride as Hanoi is the venue for such an important national event.
Local and foreign people and tourists are eagerly awaiting the moment when the majestic army marches from Ba Dinh Square, marking 80 years of independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people.
