Recently, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Khon Ken (Thailand) and the Thai - Vietnamese Business Association in Thailand, in coordination with local authorities, organized a series of activities to promote investment, trade and tourism between Vietnam and Northeastern Thailand called Spring Homeland .

With the theme Overseas Vietnamese accompanying the country in the new era, the program honors the cultural values ​​and fine traditions of the nation. The event marks a new step in creating a traditional cultural space, combining exchanges and connections between domestic enterprises with overseas Vietnamese and Thai enterprises.

At the event, overseas Vietnamese models participated in the show of the traditional ao dai collection, imbued with the image of Vietnamese culture by designer Tran Phuong Hoa. The designer said that she combined many fresh colors, harmoniously expressing the image of the homeland with social life.

The Northeast is a key economic development region of Thailand, comprising 20 provinces with a population of over 20 million people, including about 100,000 overseas Vietnamese. This is an area with a favorable location and a lot of potential. In particular, there is a relic site and a memorial site for President Ho Chi Minh built by the people.
