According to the reporter, the gate was opened for worship at 6:00 a.m., but many monks, nuns, and Buddhists from all over the country were present very early. At around 6:30 a.m., the line of worshipers stretched for more than 1km.

The Buddha's relic worship activity is part of the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival, hosted by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

Ms. Minh Tuyet (70 years old, Binh Tan district) expressed her happiness when she had the opportunity to see the Buddha's relics with her own eyes. Although she is not a Buddhist, Ms. Tuyet always takes time to go to the temple and worship the Buddha on special occasions. The older I get, the more I want to follow Buddha and seek out pure things.

Venerable Thich Tam Hai said that the number of volunteers mobilized from students, monks and nuns at the academy, people, and Buddhists at pagodas can serve 100,000 vegetarian meals to people and 3,000 delegates on each holiday.

According to the Organizing Committee, monks, nuns, Buddhists and people can come to worship from May 3 to noon on May 8. Opening hours: morning from 6:00 to 11:30, afternoon from 13:30 to 22:00. People do not need to register in advance but can go to the waiting room at the temple to be guided according to the process.

Many Buddhists took advantage of the opportunity to use their phones to capture special moments while waiting to worship.

The organizers have arranged a sheltered waiting area for people to rest and take shelter; an area for free meals and drinks. At the entrance to the worship area, Buddhists must go through a security gate and are strictly checked.

The 2025 Vesak Festival will officially open on May 6 and close on May 8. The event attracts the participation of more than 2,700 delegates, including 1,250 people from 85 countries and territories. This is a meaningful international cultural diplomacy event of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and our country in 2025.
