Survey on products and tourism development in Ha Nam

NDO - On May 29, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam coordinated with the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club to organize a famtrip program to survey and introduce Ha Nam tourism products in 2025 to improve the effectiveness of tourism promotion.

Famtrip's survey and introduction of Ha Nam tourism products in 2025 is a practical activity aimed at promoting typical destinations, unique tourism products and competitive advantages of Ha Nam province to domestic and foreign travel businesses, press agencies, investors, and tourism experts, thereby enhancing the recognition of Ha Nam tourism brand on the national and regional tourism map.

The event also aims to create a forum for connecting, exchanging and cooperating for development between tourism businesses inside and outside the province; thereby promoting the development of new products, developing routes, expanding the tourist market, especially the high-quality domestic tourist market and potential international tourists. Famtrip also contributes to creating a basis for proposing investment orientation, perfecting products, improving service quality and competitiveness of Ha Nam destinations.

Legend Valley Country Golf Course Survey.

Participating in the famtrip, during the one-day duration, the survey team visited the modern urban area Sun Urban City in the multifunctional urban area Sun Mega City, where nature harmonizes with modern life, with 5 large parks serving tourism development.

The survey team also visited Legend Valley Country golf course by electric car - a masterpiece of the world's leading designer Nicklaus, along with the Legend Valley Hotel (5-star standard) located in the complex.

In the afternoon, the group surveyed the electric car service within Tam Chuc Tourist Area, listened to the tour guide introduce Tam The Temple, Bell Tower, camping area - experience herbal salt foot bath, learn about the amusement park; take a cruise on Luc Nhac Lake; enjoy afternoon tea and admire the panoramic view of Tam Chuc at sunset; release flower lanterns on the lake to pray for peace, luck and happiness.

From the perspective of a travel agency participating in the famtrip, Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, Director of Vietsense Travel, commented that the survey itinerary was designed to be very attractive. All three destinations show great potential in developing Ha Nam tourism, and are three “magnets” to attract visitors, especially visitors from Hanoi to Ha Nam during weekends or festival seasons.

According to Mr. Tai, with the participation of large investors in creating high-quality artificial tourist areas, Ha Nam tourism will have a special attraction, helping to prolong the length of stay of tourists, turning Ha Nam from a tourist attraction into a real destination.

Mr. Tai emphasized that there are three very popular trends, which are resort tourism, check-in tourism and conference tourism. With destinations invested in scale and quality, Ha Nam tourism can fully meet these trends, especially when this province will soon merge with the two provinces of Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh with the opportunity to expand in space, resources, tourism resources, etc.

Seminar on Tam Chuc tourism development.

On the same afternoon, after the Famtrip ended, the delegation members attended the Seminar "Comprehensive connection of Tam Chuc products 2025" with the theme "Tam Chuc - Tourism products in the saturated era".

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Nguyen, Director of Ha Nam Tourism Promotion Center: In the current trend of globalization, regionalization and international integration, local tourism needs to strengthen cooperation between state management agencies, media units and businesses operating in the tourism sector in order to develop. In fact, more than any other sector, tourism needs cooperation to develop.

With its unique cultural and spiritual values, natural landscapes and rich ecosystems, Tam Chuc Tourist Area has become an impressive tourist destination on the Vietnam tourism map, attracting millions of visitors every year, contributing greatly to the development of Ha Nam tourism.

The synchronous development of services and utilities of Tam Chuc Tourist Area is an important link to bring quality experiences to tourists on the journey connecting Ha Nam tourism.

The seminar received many comments from representatives of travel businesses.

At the Seminar, based on the assessment of the existing tourism products of Tam Chuc Tourist Area, the delegates who are experts and travel businesses contributed and proposed many ideas and solutions to maximize the tourism potential of Tam Chuc Tourist Area, such as: focusing on product promotion, having a proactive strategy to approach customers, especially through digital media channels; developing some more potential tourism products such as: river tourism, cycling...; enhancing the exploitation of more folk cultural values, cuisine, craft villages... to enrich the experience of tourists...
