Vietnamese pioneers are rewriting the success story with their own identity. From art to technology, from music to handicrafts, they are committed to the belief that maintaining identity in the era of integration is the key for Vietnam to reach the world. Accompanying this wave, Techcombank chooses identity as a fulcrum to help the country move towards a superior version.

Viet Tu – The man who harmonizes art and commerce, breaking all limits of Vietnamese creativity

“I am Viet Tu – an art entrepreneur”, he introduced himself very briefly but confidently, a simple and groundbreaking definition in the context of Vietnamese art where there are still many prejudices about the boundary between pure creativity and commercial value. An unusual dream was cherished by him and he decided to act on that dream.

While many artists are still wondering between “art for art’s sake” or pursuing commerce, Viet Tu chooses the path of compromise – breaking all creative limits, while understanding and respecting business values to bring art to the masses. From high-tech shows to experimental contemporary theater, he constantly pushes the boundaries of creativity. For Viet Tu, each work is a small revolution, where the artist’s ego, commercial goals and public experience shine together.

“Moving towards a superior version in the era of growth for me means breaking all limits in creativity and constantly setting new standards” - Viet Tu affirmed, with his eyes looking towards the future where Vietnamese art is recognized by the world .

Ha Thi Hau - Bringing the Vietnamese flag to the world trail running map

Hau's trail running journey started from simple joy - love of nature and the feeling of freedom when crossing wild mountain roads. From a small dream to a great aspiration, to reach success, she understands that passion alone is not enough. "I realized that, to reach international level, you have to live, breathe and dream like a champion" - Hau shared about her philosophy of life and chose to act strongly.

Every day, she trains comprehensively from physical strength, technique, nutrition to spirit. Each training session is an internal battle, each kilometer is a step towards her dream. The important milestone came when Hau became the only Vietnamese person to win a gold ticket to participate in the Western States Endurance Run - one of the oldest trail running races in the world. But for her, this is just the starting point. "I want to prove that Vietnamese people can shine internationally and inspire the next generation" - she said with determined eyes.

When asked about the meaning of the message "Moving towards a superior version", Hau did not hesitate to answer: "It is to bring the Vietnamese flag to the world trail running map, so that the whole world knows that from this beautiful land of Vietnam, there are talented athletes with strong will".

Soobin – The artist who brings Vietnamese folk music into the global modern music stream

Soobin's musical journey began very early, when folk melodies such as ca tru, xam and other traditional art forms were deeply engraved in the soul of the 3-year-old boy. After that, he focused on pursuing uptrend music genres in the world and achieved success with catchy pop songs that kept up with global trends. However, fate brought him back to his roots when "Trông cốm" - a folk melody opened the door to new creativity. Returning to his small dream from the past, Soobin was determined to take action to reap his own sweet fruits.

“When I started working with Trong Com, I started experimenting with writing modern melodies based on the core of folk songs. That was when I realized that folk sounds are a valuable element to connect with young audiences and introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends – a precious heritage that we have preserved and developed over the years” - Soobin shared about the turning point in his career.

Moving towards a superior version, for Soobin, is to become a bridge to bring Vietnamese music into the global music flow. This is not only an ambition, but also a mission that he is realizing every day through each song, each performance and the warm reception of the public - not only in Vietnam but also from international friends.

From each creative journey, each decision to maintain their identity, these people have inspired the community to dare to dream and act for their dreams. And on that journey of conquest, Techcombank is proud to be the facilitator - always supporting, connecting and encouraging the aspirations to dare to be different to excel every day.
