On December 4, in Hanoi, the Central Public Security Party Committee held a conference to summarize and evaluate the work in 2025, set out directions and tasks for 2026, and give opinions on contents within its authority. General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security, chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were Politburo members, members of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee: President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Politburo member Tran Cam Tu, Standing member of the Secretariat; Politburo members, Secretaries of the Party Central Committee: Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organization Committee; Phan Dinh Trac, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Secretariat members, Party Central Committee members, leaders of Central Party Committees; Central Public Security Party members, heads of units under the Ministry of Public Security .

In 2025, the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and Party committees and leaders at all levels in the People's Public Security always uphold the spirit of responsibility, focus, resolutely lead and direct the Public Security of units and localities to successfully implement the goals, requirements, targets and tasks of the Resolution on protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and building the People's Public Security force in 2025, maintaining national security, consolidating social order and safety, creating an environment and conditions to implement the Party's policies and decisions on national development. Particularly important political events are guaranteed absolute security and safety; crime prevention and control work has achieved many positive results.

The People's Public Security force has demonstrated its pioneering and core role in the national digital transformation process; exemplary in implementing social security work with the spirit of protecting people's lives and property above all, first and foremost, all for the people, promptly supporting people in preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms and floods. Party committees at all levels have strongly innovated leadership methods associated with innovation in streamlined organizations, effective, efficient and effective operations, decentralization and delegation of powers in line with functions and tasks, promoting proactiveness and creativity. Speaking at the conference, General Secretary To Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, attempts, exemplary spirit, leadership and achievements of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security in 2025. Directing a number of key tasks in the coming time, the General Secretary requested that the People's Public Security force focus all its efforts on absolutely protecting the security and safety of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Specifically positioning the work to increase the contribution of the Public Security force in implementing the 3 strategic goals of "peace, stability - sustainable development, high quality - improving all aspects of people's lives".

The General Secretary requested to focus on building a clean and strong Public Security Party Committee, building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force. The General Secretary emphasized that to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the Party's strategic policies, it requires great determination, efforts and a strong breakthrough of the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army in the spirit of all for the development of the country, for the happiness of the people, including the very important role and contribution of the People's Public Security force. The General Secretary affirmed his belief that with the spirit of "Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People", the People's Public Security force will excellently complete its tasks in 2026, worthy of the trust of the Party, the State and the people.

On behalf of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security, General Luong Tam Quang respectfully thanked and seriously accepted the opinions and directions of the delegates attending the conference, especially the directions of the General Secretary on the tasks that the People's Public Security force needs to focus on implementing in the coming time. The entire People's Public Security force will closely follow and seriously implement the directions of the General Secretary and other Party and State leaders; concentrate all its efforts on absolutely protecting the security and safety of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, not allowing even the smallest mistake to occur.
