On the evening of May 3, at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, the Provincial People's Committee organized a special art program with the theme "Brocade Mountains and Rivers - A Strip of Glory."
This is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh .
In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province Vu A Bang affirmed that, promoting the heroic tradition of the heroic homeland of Dien Bien Phu, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province have been making constant efforts, achieving many important achievements in socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and improving people's lives.
The art program “Non song gam mam - Mot dau glory” is an opportunity to review glorious history pages, express gratitude to heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones, devoted their whole lives to the cause of national liberation and unification; express determination and aspiration to rise up, continue to contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
The songs have gone down in history under the performance of the artists, recreating the meaning, greatness and great value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Great Spring Victory of 1975 that completely liberated the South and reunified the country. Through the program, we aim to arouse pride and gratitude towards President Ho Chi Minh and pay tribute to the heroes, martyrs and those who contributed to the revolution, demonstrating the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".
Praising the beauty, important milestones, and important development achievements of the country and Dien Bien province; at the same time expressing the aspiration for future development in the new period, new era, together towards the goal of developing a prosperous and happy country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
“The brocade mountains and rivers - A strip of glory” not only shows the beauty of the homeland of Vietnam but also a meaningful journey from the arduous war years to the modern period of peace, development and shining.
Closely linked to the nation’s history, this theme depicts the cultural identity, indomitable spirit and the desire to move forward of the Vietnamese people. The pain and loss of the past have forged an indomitable spirit, rising up strongly and steadfastly in building the country.
Peace is not simply the absence of war, but also sustainable development, harmony among peoples and the preservation of traditional cultural values.
The program brings together famous artists from all over the country, a harmonious combination of veteran artists and young talented faces such as Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu...
Chapter 1 with the theme "Immortal Epic" is a proud epic about the two great wars of resistance to save the nation, in which the great leadership role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh stands out.
Chapter 2, with the theme “Peaceful Rendezvous”, shows the vitality of Dien Bien Phu land, from a war rendezvous, to a rendezvous of peace, friendship and cooperation, rising up with the country.
The art program combines elements of singing - dancing - orchestra - video clips with creative, traditional and modern elements; combines elements of stage production and semi-real scenes; combined performances on the ground and in the air to create impressive and unique scenes.
In particular, after the political art program is a music exchange program called "Song of youth and faith."
