Translator Nguyen Le Chi (Chibooks) and author Do Quang Tuan Hoang introduce books about Vietnamese culture at the program.

“Vặt qua nhung ngan may” is a collection of articles on the journey across the S-shaped strip of land by author Đỗ Quang Tuấn Hoàng. In each land, from the north of the Fatherland, across the sunny and windy central strip of land, to the river south, the author records vivid stories of life, where each land has its own specialties that create its own beauty, where people blend in with nature, love and desire to preserve the inherent beauty of their homeland. Hidden behind the real losses is the desire to preserve the beauty and passionate love for the land of their homeland.

The book "Vất qua nhung ngan may" is the first Vietnamese cultural book by Chibooks published in China and Do Quang Tuan Hoang is the first Vietnamese author that Chibooks brought to China for exchange.

The second book by author Do Quang Tuan Hoang, "Vietnam - Casual Dress" is also being translated into Chinese by a Chinese expert.

The work “Vietnam – leisurely dress” is a collection of articles by author Do Quang Tuan Hoang introducing extremely unique characteristics in the dress culture of Vietnamese ethnic groups, especially indigenous culture vividly expressed in special patterns, accessories, traditional costumes, or ways to create unique materials such as silk, lotus silk, cotton, linen, banana fibers, etc. The author also devoted many pages to writing about the people who have worked hard to revive traditional costumes, traditional materials, traditional garment villages, etc., making them come alive in modern life.

Translator Nguyen Le Chi said that this year, Chibooks will continue to translate the book "A Thousand Years of Vietnamese Tea" by Do Quang Tuan Hoang into Chinese and continue to exchange and launch books in China.

“Chibooks wants to introduce more valuable Vietnamese cultural works to the Chinese market so that readers in China can better understand the quintessence of Vietnamese culture, thereby understanding and loving the Vietnamese people and country. At the same time, Chibooks also creates conditions for Vietnamese authors to go abroad to study, exchange with readers in China, and meet many writers from other countries to broaden their horizons, knowledge, and enhance mutual understanding,” said Ms. Le Chi.
