Selling pressure increased at the end of the session, VN-Index decreased slightly

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 19,296.94 billion VND.

Foreign investors net bought 249 billion VND on HoSE, focusing on codes: FPT (103 billion VND), TPB (95 billion VND), VNM (79 billion VND)...

Today's session, the VN30 group closed with 11 stocks increasing, 8 stocks remaining unchanged and 11 stocks decreasing.

Of which, STB increased by 2.6% to VND33,600/share, SHB increased by 2.33% to VND11,000/share, CTG increased by 1.65%, TPB increased by 1.5%, VRE increased by 1.04%.

Codes: BID, SAB, SSI, TCB, VNM, VPB increased slightly.

Eight codes stopped at reference: BVH, HDB, HPG, MBB, POW, SSB, VCB, VJC.

On the other hand, VHM decreased by 2.25% to VND43,400/share, PLX decreased by 1.43%, MWG decreased by 1.17%, GVR decreased by 1.1%.

The remaining codes: ACB , BCM, FPT, GAS, MSN, VIB, VIC decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, banking stocks traded more actively at the end of the session with most of the codes increasing. In addition to the codes ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, the remaining codes: EIB increased by 3.63%, LPB increased by 0.31%, OCB increased by 0.42%, MSB stopped at reference, NAB decreased by 0.29%.

Steel stocks, except for POM, which decreased by 6.45%, mostly fluctuated slightly. Specifically, DTL increased by 0.82%, HSG increased by 0.72%, NKG increased by 0.23%, VCA increased by 0.11%, HPG and SMC stopped at reference, HMC decreased by 0.9%, TLH decreased by 0.55%.

Securities stocks closed mixed. On the upside, AGR increased by 1.06%, VND increased by 1%, CTS increased by 0.5%, FTS increased by 0.44%, SSI increased by 0.36%, TVB increased by 0.44%, VDS increased by 0.23%, and TCI stopped at the reference. Liquidity with trading volume reached 929.14 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 22,160.30 billion. In the whole market, there were 125 stocks increasing in price, 106 stocks remaining unchanged and 233 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 235.71 points, down 0.21 points (-0.09%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 64.71 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND1,229.40 billion. The entire floor had 63 stocks increasing, 65 stocks remaining unchanged and 92 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 2.90 points (-0.56%) to 515.63 points. Trading volume reached about 42.18 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND977.40 billion. The VN30 Index increased by 1.72 points (+0.13%) to 1,352.57 points. Liquidity reached more than 418.30 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND11,836.28 billion.
