Launched to meet the demand for real-time sports coverage, Apple Sports is a free app for iPhone. In its latest version, the app is optimized for the 2026 World Cup with features such as live score updates, group stage tracking, knockout bracket analysis, starting lineups, and match progress. Users can also quickly view scores directly on Dynamic Island or a home screen widget without opening the app.

According to tech sources, Apple Sports offers an intuitive interface with detailed information such as match statistics, highlights, rankings, and continuously updated real-time data. This is seen as a new step for Apple in expanding its digital service ecosystem, especially in the highly competitive sports content sector.
