'National mother' Ngan Quynh shed tears when collaborating with her juniors

Musician - singer Shin Hong Vinh has just released the MV "Mother's Heart 3" written about his late mother, marking a change in his career when he changed his stage name to Satila Hong Vinh.

Hong Vinh said that even though she had watched the product many times, she still couldn't hold back her tears because old memories came flooding back.

"My mother passed away when I was too young, I didn't understand how great the pain of losing her was, nor did I know what my feelings were at that time. People often say that healing a broken heart is healing, but I don't know if I'm hurt or not. I just know that I'm not okay, I need to find myself again - a girl from a poor countryside, who listened to her mother sing and her father play the guitar every day," she said.

The short film was made by the female singer in a simple way, recreating the mother's timeline from when she was young (played by Satila Hong Vinh), giving birth and raising her children (played by actress Bao Tam and artist Ngan Quynh) until she was old (played by Mrs. Chin Cay Sao - Mother of Venerable Thich Long Vien). During those years, although life was difficult, the mother always gave the best to her children.

Artist Ngan Quynh plays the role of a middle-aged mother in the short film.

When the product was completed, Hong Vinh received compliments from artist Ngan Quynh - who played the singer's mother in the MV. Previously, the actress had never met Satila Hong Vinh because the two "mother and daughter" worked in different fields. It was not until the day they went to the set that Ngan Quynh got to know Satila Hong Vinh.

"This girl is very patient in waiting for me to be free, and whenever she has free time, she comes to film. When working, Hong Vinh makes me feel close and familiar, as if she were my own child. When I saw my child running home when he heard the news of his mother's death, I cried.

Normally, it's hard for anyone to move me, but Hong Vinh made me cry from the first seconds of the short film. She's small but very talented, both composing music and acting. I feel like the time I spent making this MV was worth it," the female artist said.

In response, Satila Hong Vinh expressed her gratitude because artist Ngan Quynh gave her a family feeling and helped the female singer get into character, feeling like meeting her mother again.

Ngan Quynh gave many compliments to Hong Vinh.

Satila Hong Vinh was a member of the group S-Girls. After the group members went their separate ways, Shin Hong Vinh went solo and actively released music products. She once attracted attention when performing the theme song in the program Who is that person with rapper Ricky Star. She also tried her hand at the contest Sing My Song 2018.
