Bac Ninh: Striving to complete 100% of socio-economic development targets, exceeding double-digit growth target

The report at the conference showed that the province's socio -economic situation in the first 9 months of 2025 continued to record positive and comprehensive results in many fields. Economic growth improved; industrial production increased sharply, production capacity expanded. Trade and service activities flourished. Import and export turnover grew rapidly, contributing to a clear mark in the overall growth. State budget revenue and investment attraction achieved outstanding results, creating resources for development.

The province focuses on promoting planning and developing industrial and urban infrastructure. Disbursement of public investment capital is implemented drastically, contributing to improving the infrastructure system. The cultural and social fields have many positive changes; people's health care, disease prevention, and social security are focused on. Political security and social order and safety continue to be maintained. The tasks of administrative reform, digital transformation, institutional improvement, and improvement of the investment and business environment are directed by the province resolutely and synchronously.

However, the province still faces some difficulties such as: Natural disasters are complicated and unpredictable, causing damage to people and property; seriously affecting production, business and people's lives. Attracting private investment and large-scale foreign-invested projects has not met expectations. New growth drivers are in the early stages. The situation of smuggling and trade fraud is still complicated; the operation of the 2-level local government model is still confusing; new development spaces have not been effectively exploited.

At the conference, leaders of communes and wards proposed many recommendations related to the operation of two-level local government, digital transformation, infrastructure investment, staff allocation, environmental protection and disaster response.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai highly appreciated the results and highlights that the province has achieved in the past time. Regarding the key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2025, the Provincial Party Committee Secretary suggested focusing on removing bottlenecks, difficulties and obstacles in operating the 2-level local government model. He requested that agencies, units and localities carefully study the directives and guidelines of the Central Government and the province to implement this very important content.

The Provincial Party Committee leads the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant departments and branches to urgently propose plans for decentralization and delegation of specific tasks to the commune level; develop a manual for contents under their responsibility. Continue to train and instruct cadres, civil servants and public employees at the commune level. Have regulations for coordination between departments and branches with the Party Committee and People's Committee at the commune level in removing difficulties and obstacles, guiding, urging, inspecting and supervising the implementation of decentralized and delegated contents.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested: The province must achieve and exceed the set double-digit growth target. Accordingly, it is necessary to focus on directing the task of developing production, promoting economic growth; implementing and completing 100% of the socio-economic development targets in 2025.
