The 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session.

On the morning of October 16, the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session, with the participation of 450 delegates, representing more than 82,000 Party members of the Provincial Party Committee.

Attending the Congress were: Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Huynh Quoc Viet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau province Pham Van Thieu; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Ho Thanh Thuy and members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Presidium introduced the Congress.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected the Presidium, the Congress Secretariat, and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board. Accordingly, the Presidium consisted of 19 comrades; the Secretariat consisted of 3 comrades; and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board consisted of 7 comrades. 100% of the delegates voted unanimously to approve the list of the Congress Presidium, the Congress Secretariat, and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board for the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. At the preparatory session, the Congress's Program, internal rules, and working regulations were also approved.

Delegates voted to elect the Delegate Qualification Review Board.

After the preparatory session, the Congress divided into 9 groups to discuss draft documents to be submitted to the Congress; focused on discussing and contributing opinions on the results of implementing the Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term in various fields and discussing goals, tasks, solutions, and breakthroughs in the new term.

With the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Breakthrough - Development", the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 was conducted in a positive, democratic and highly responsible spirit; clearly demonstrating the will, determination and aspiration to build the province to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new era.

The Congress has the theme: Promoting the heroic revolutionary tradition, solidarity, building a clean and strong Party and political system; making breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; taking advantage of opportunities, advantages and potentials of the southernmost province of the Fatherland for comprehensive development, confidently entering a new era with the whole country.

Delegates contribute to support people affected by natural disasters

Also at the preparatory session of the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the launching ceremony to support people affected by natural disasters.
