Autumn in Hanoi in the new love song of Le Ba Thuong

Autumn in Hanoi not only depicts the autumn scenery but also opens up a space of gentle and profound emotions, carrying the peaceful breath of the changing seasons.

The melody of the song Autumn Sky of Hanoi is built slowly and melodiously, like the wandering footsteps of a traveler around Hoan Kiem Lake. The passion does not come from the climax but from the subtlety in the way each note is played.

With a rich vocabulary of imagery and subtle observations, musician Le Ba Thuong recreates Hanoi with familiar yet evocative images: "cool breeze", "gently falling golden autumn leaves", "reflection of Hoan Kiem Lake".

The interplay between scene and feeling is revealed through the comparisons: "The cool autumn wind comes, I thought it was a soft kiss". The lyrics are both poetic and evoke the deep romance of autumn. In particular, the song is performed by singer Phuc Lam, a singer with a very emotional voice and a son of Hanoi, who has contributed to bringing the song to the listeners' emotions.

Le Ba Thuong did not come from a professional music environment. He only attended a short-term composition course at the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association but he owns more than 50 songs of many different genres. At the end of 2024, he was officially admitted by the Music Association, marking an important milestone in his inspiring artistic journey.
