Steering Committee for Administrative Reform, Digital Transformation and Project 06 provinces held its first meeting

BHG - On the morning of September 18, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform (PAR), Digital Transformation (DT) and Project 06 provinces held the first meeting of 2024 in person and online to 11 districts and cities to evaluate the results of implementing tasks in the past 9 months; deploy key directions and tasks for the last 3 months of 2024. Comrades: Hoang Gia Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee; Tran Duc Quy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Thi Minh Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. In the first 9 months of 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued many documents directing and operating administrative reform, digital transformation and Project 06 in a synchronous and drastic manner. The merger of the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform, Digital Transformation Executive Board and the Working Group for Project 06 into the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform, Digital Transformation and Project 06 of Ha Giang province demonstrates the province's political determination, in line with the practical situation, and improves the effectiveness of state management. With the efforts of the entire political system, the consensus of the people and businesses; the work of administrative reform, digital transformation and Project 06 in the province has had positive, substantive and effective changes; contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the state apparatus, creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development. Notably, many indicators on administrative reform associated with digital transformation achieved high results, exceeding the assigned targets. Specifically, 97.9% of records were processed on time and before the deadline; 81.4% of public services were provided online; 89.5% of online payment services were deployed; 97.7% of people were satisfied with online public services. In particular, the whole province completed 67/83 tasks of Project 06 (reaching 81%); effectively implemented 23/33 models of Project 06, the remaining 10 models are being deployed. At the meeting, delegates spent a lot of time discussing, analyzing, and objectively evaluating the results of the implementation of administrative reform, digital transformation, and Project 06; clearly pointing out the limitations and obstacles in institutions, mechanisms, policies, and slow progress to determine the causes, draw lessons, and clearly identify key tasks and breakthrough solutions in the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Gia Long requested all levels and sectors to: Strengthen propaganda and dissemination to raise awareness and responsibility of cadres, civil servants, public employees and people about the role and importance of Project 06, administrative reform and digital transformation. Continue to perfect institutions, mechanisms and policies on administrative reform, digital transformation, and application of information technology, creating a favorable legal environment for the implementation of Project 06. Focus resources, accelerate the implementation of tasks and solutions of Project 06 and the 2024 Administrative Reform Plan of the province; prioritize resources for investment and modernization of information technology infrastructure, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas.
