The Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption held its 10th meeting

Comrade Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the conference. Attending the meeting were Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, and members of the Steering Committee.

At the meeting, after listening to the report on the results of the Steering Committee's performance in the first 9 months and the implementation of tasks in the fourth quarter of 2024, the delegates discussed and agreed to assess: The Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee fully and promptly implemented the Central Committee's directives, resolutions, programs, plans, and announcements of conclusions on the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity; directed Party committees and organizations at all levels to effectively implement solutions to prevent corruption and negativity; strengthened inspection, examination, and supervision work focusing on areas prone to corruption and negativity; directed competent authorities to continue to effectively implement the coordination mechanism to detect and handle violations during the process of inspection, supervision, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments.

Party committees and authorities at all levels seriously implement solutions to prevent corruption: Implement transparency and publicity in finance, budget, personnel organization, land, capital construction investment, administrative procedures; review, revise, supplement, strictly implement the Regulations on internal spending, management and use of public assets; develop plans and implement job transfers for 130 cadres, civil servants and public employees; promote administrative reform, apply science and technology in management and operation of agencies and units; declare and publicize 1,271/1,271 people who are obliged to declare and verify assets and income for 17 people at 8 departments, branches, districts and cities according to regulations; pay salaries through accounts; Maintain the one-stop, one-stop mechanism, promptly resolve the work of people and businesses, contributing to preventing corruption and negativity.

Inspection, examination and supervision work focuses on areas prone to corruption and negativity, prominent issues, issues of public concern, and many petitions, recommendations and reflections. Inspection committees at all levels strengthen inspection and supervision work within the Party; inspection organizations in the province carry out focused and key inspections according to plan.

Performing well the work of receiving people, resolving complaints and denunciations according to authority, in the first 9 months of the year, 85% of the total number of cases to be resolved were resolved.

The Steering Committee has conducted 2 inspections of the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of the work of receiving and handling denunciations and reports of crimes, recommending the prosecution of cases with signs of economic crimes, corruption and negativity; 2 supervisions of the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

Also at the meeting, members of the Steering Committee discussed and contributed opinions to the draft Regulation on providing documents serving the activities of the Steering Committee for anti-corruption and negativity of Ninh Binh province.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Doan Minh Huan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee highly appreciated and acknowledged the results achieved in the first 9 months of the year, and agreed to direct a number of key tasks for the last 3 months of 2024:

Direct Party committees and authorities at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement Party directives, resolutions, regulations, and State policies and laws on the prevention and fight against corruption and negativity.

Thoroughly grasp and seriously implement documents of the Central and the province on organizing party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; effectively implement the Politburo's Regulations on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period.

Party committees, authorities, heads of agencies and units shall direct the improvement of the effectiveness of detecting and handling corruption and negativity through inspection, examination, and settlement of complaints and denunciations; strictly implement regulations and authority on the work of receiving, handling, and resolving complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections from citizens, especially handling complaints and denunciations about corruption and negativity related to personnel of Party congresses at all levels; continue to review, consider dismissal, resignation, and assignment of other work for cadres after being disciplined according to regulations.

Strictly implement anti-corruption measures. Review regulations on standards, spending norms, and asset management. Strictly handle the responsibility of leaders who allow corruption and negativity to occur in agencies and units under their direct leadership and management.

Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of supervision by elected bodies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, the press and the people in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

Prosecution agencies speed up the verification, investigation, prosecution, and trial of corruption, economic, and negative cases; effectively implement the coordination mechanism in recovering lost assets in criminal cases of corruption, economic, and negative cases.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee - the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee advises the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and the Steering Committee to conduct inspections and supervisions according to the program and plan; develop the 2025 Key Work Program; and the 2025 Inspection and Supervision Program .

The members of the Steering Committee proactively inspect, supervise, and urge the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity at Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, and units assigned to monitor and take charge.

Regarding the draft Regulation on providing documents for the activities of the Steering Committee for anti-corruption and negativity of Ninh Binh province, the Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the Steering Committee requested the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee - the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee to fully absorb the opinions of the Steering Committee members to complete and promulgate.
