Handing over the boarding kitchen to Hoa My Kindergarten, Ea Kar district

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society has just coordinated with the Dak Lak Provincial Red Cross Society to inaugurate and hand over the semi-boarding kitchen to Hoa My Kindergarten, Ea Dar Commune, Ea Kar District.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the project.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society Bui Thi Hoa; Vice President of the Provincial Red Cross Society Le Khoi Nguyen and representatives of relevant units and localities.

Hoa My Kindergarten currently has 220 students. Of these, 141 are ethnic minority students (accounting for 65%), and 67 are from poor and near-poor households (accounting for 30%).

President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society Bui Thi Hoa presented a symbolic plaque of 220 cartons of milk to students of Hoa My Kindergarten.

The kitchen of Hoa My Kindergarten has an area of 60 m2 with a total construction cost of more than 300 million VND sponsored by Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company. The kitchen put into use helps the school have more conditions to care for and educate students.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society presented 220 cartons of VP Milk to the school's students with a total value of nearly 80 million VND.

Delegates took souvenir photos with teachers and students of Hoa My Kindergarten.

It is known that this is the second kitchen supported to be built in the province under the "Nutrition for poor and disabled children" program launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society. Previously, in 2023, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society supported 1 kitchen for the Krong Buk District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, worth 300 million VND, sponsored by Gold Long Thanh Company.
