The 2024-2025 Champions League (Cup C1) season has ended its qualifying round. After 8 rounds, 12 out of 36 participating clubs were eliminated. 24 teams have advanced, with the top 8 teams going straight to the round of 16.

Barcelona is one of eight teams that have qualified directly for the Champions League round of 16.

Champions League ranking format

Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lille and Aston Villa have qualified directly for the round of 16.

The next 16 teams will have to compete in a play-off round, in which the teams ranked 9-16 will face the remaining teams (ranked 17-24) to determine the remaining 8 teams to participate in the round of 16.

The first knockout matches of the Champions League take place on the night of February 11.
