The 2025 AFF Women's Championship will take place from August 6-19 in Vietnam, bringing together the 8 strongest teams in the region.

In this year’s tournament, the Vietnamese women’s team aims to win the championship right on their home field. The matches will take place at Lach Tray Stadium ( Hai Phong ) and Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho).

In Group A, Vietnam is in the same group with Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia. Coach Akira Ijiri and his team will face Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand in turn – the key match will take place on August 12, considered an “early final” to compete for the top spot in the group and a favorable place in the semi-finals.
