In recent days, storm No. 10 (BuaLoi) and storm No. 11 (MatMo) and their circulation have caused prolonged heavy rains over a wide area. Many localities have been severely affected by floods, flash floods, and landslides, causing serious damage to people and property, directly affecting people's lives and production.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Dr. Vu Manh Ha, Party Secretary and Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, said: “The damage caused by floods and storms has caused many localities to fall into difficult and loss-making situations. More than ever, the spirit of solidarity and sharing of each Vietnamese person needs to be strongly promoted. Today's donation not only has material value but also shows the affection, responsibility and heart of the cadres, civil servants and workers of the Ho Chi Minh Museum towards the people in the disaster area. I hope that each contribution, no matter how small, will help to ease the pain and spread the spirit of humanity, a profound humanistic value that President Ho Chi Minh always set an example for and taught us to follow.”

With the spirit of “Mutual love”, Ho Chi Minh Museum has called on all cadres, civil servants and employees to donate to support people affected by storms and floods with a minimum of one day's salary. All cadres, civil servants and employees of the Museum have actively responded and participated in support, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, sharing and reaching out to people in flood-affected areas. Today's noble gestures will contribute to joining hands with the Party, the State and the whole society to support people affected by natural disasters to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
