Candidates attend the opening ceremony of the 2025 civil service exam

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh affirmed: The organization of the exam aims to select people with qualities, qualifications and abilities to meet the requirements of the job position, contributing to building a team of high-quality, professional administrative civil servants, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the period when Hue city is shifting to a 2-level government model. At the same time, he emphasized that in the context of Hue becoming a city directly under the Central Government, the team of civil servants needs to have innovative thinking, dare to think, dare to do, contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations, creating favorable conditions for people, organizations and businesses.

This year's civil servant recruitment exam has 836 candidates registered (301 male, 535 female), to recruit 50 positions to work in agencies, units and localities in the city.

The exam is organized in two rounds. Round 1 is a multiple choice test on a computer consisting of two parts: General knowledge and foreign language. Candidates who score 50% or more correct in each part will be eligible to take round 2, which includes a written test on a computer (70 questions) and a direct interview to assess professional knowledge, situation handling skills, communication and ability to perform public duties. Admission scores are calculated on a 100-point scale, in which the written test accounts for 70% and the interview 30%. Successful candidates must score at least 50 points in each part and have a higher total score in order of quota.

The recruitment council has carefully prepared from determining job positions, recruitment plans, receiving applications to announcing the list of qualified candidates. The organization is carried out publicly and transparently, under the supervision of the supervisory board established by the City People's Committee and the support of the city police force to ensure security and order.
