Ca Mau and VNPT strengthen coordination to implement cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the period 2025 - 2030

On October 10, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan and Mr. Le Xuan Son, Deputy General Director of VNPT-IT had a working session to discuss some contents related to the upcoming tasks of the Coordination Team of the cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and VNPT Group.

In the period of 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2035, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and VNPT Group will implement a cooperation agreement on digital transformation with the contents of cooperation in developing infrastructure and platforms to create a foundation for digital transformation; developing digital government, digital economy, digital society. For each industry and field, there will be separate pilot plans and solutions, ensuring suitability and meeting the province's digital transformation criteria as well as the country's common architectural framework.

The cooperation between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and VNPT Group aims to promote research and application of information technology and digital technology in building and developing digital government, digital economy and digital society in the province; at the same time, promote the digital transformation process in economic restructuring in the locality, contributing to promoting production and business activities and socio-economic development in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Xuan Son, Deputy General Director of VNPT-IT, hoped that relevant departments and branches of Ca Mau province would jointly research and prioritize solutions on security compliance, ensuring information security; access and use AI tools in processing tasks and analyzing input data, ensuring compliance with the general orientation of the Central Government for digital transformation plans in sectors and fields as proposed by the province; at the same time, committed to accompanying and focusing resources, soon building a separate architectural framework for the province's digital transformation solutions.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan emphasized: Digital transformation is a common task, requiring the consensus of the Provincial People's Committee and VNPT Group to promote the application of information technology in activities. Therefore, it is necessary to make the most of opportunities, infrastructure, and available resources to overcome difficulties, towards the goal of long-term and sustainable development, keeping up with the general trend.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan hopes that VNPT Group will proactively coordinate with relevant units to quickly build a framework structure, thereby creating a foundation to establish the list of tasks to be done in implementing the digital transformation task. The deployed technology solutions must focus on the common goal of developing digital government, digital society, digital economy; serving the activities of people, businesses and State management to the maximum extent.
