(NADS) - Recently, on November 10, in Ho Chi Minh City, Artist Nguyen Hong Nga introduced to the public the beauty of the art of Hat Boi through the photo exhibition "Colors in Hat Boi". The exhibition lasts until November 21.
This is an event to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, and at the same time to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Through the exhibition, the author hopes that the audience will have a deeper understanding of the brilliant beauty and cultural value of Hat Boi.
Journalist and photographer Nguyen Hong Nga is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association.
The exhibition " Colors in Hat Boi" includes 65 works printed on canvas paper in sizes 50x75cm and 40x60cm, introducing unique makeup faces and images in Hat Boi scripts about the nation's history to audiences at home and abroad.
This exhibition is the result of many years of accumulation of love for the art of hát bội in Ho Chi Minh City, hoping to preserve and conserve the traditional art of hát bội in Vietnam. It aims to promote the art of hát bội with unique makeup faces, images in the hát bội scripts about the history of the nation to the public at home and abroad. If hát bội is not preserved and maintained, it will gradually be forgotten in the developing social life with many modern art forms in movies and music... on the media channels.

The exhibition " Colors in Hat Boi" will take place until November 21 at Le Bao Minh Building, 184 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
