Tuoi Tre Newspaper awarded scholarships to 101 new students from Quang Tri province facing difficult circumstances

The total cost of the “Support to School” Scholarship Program is nearly 2 billion VND, sponsored by the “Nghia Tinh Quang Tri ” Club and Binh Dien-Quang Tri Joint Stock Company. Each scholarship is worth 15 million VND in cash, including 2 special scholarships worth 50 million VND/for 4 years.

In addition, Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored gifts for new students; Vinacam Scholarship Fund - Vinacam Group Joint Stock Company sponsored 4 laptops for new students with special difficulties and lack of learning equipment.

Speaking at the award ceremony, journalist Le The Chu, editor-in-chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper, shared: Starting with the first 33 new students from Quang Tri with difficult circumstances receiving support, now in its 21st year, the "Quang Tri Compassionate Club" has supported 2,787 students with a total budget of more than 27 billion VND.

Not stopping at material support with scholarships, accommodation, and jobs for new students, the "Quang Tri Affection" Club also brings poor students affection, invaluable spiritual encouragement, helping new students to confidently enter university.
