Barca reach agreement to sign Nico Williams

Nico Williams is set to become Barcelona's new signing after the two sides agreed personal terms on a six-year contract.

According to Spanish media, Nico Williams has agreed to join Barcelona with a contract until June 2031. The Athletic Bilbao star is expected to receive a salary of around 7-8 million euros/year after tax.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added: "Barcelona are rushing to complete financial plans to activate the contract release clause worth 58 million euros. Most importantly, Nico Williams has clearly shown his stance that he only wants to join Barcelona."
