Arrested 2 suspects for tricking and selling baby girl to Cambodia

On December 28, news from the Criminal Police Department, Bac Lieu Provincial Police said that the unit had just issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and order the temporary detention of 2 suspects, including: Nguyen Van Di (29 years old, residing in An Thanh commune, Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh) and Le Minh Duong (32 years old, residing in Phong Thanh Tay commune, Gia Rai town, Bac Lieu) to investigate and clarify the act of buying and selling people under 16 years old. These are 2 suspects involved in the case of tricking and selling a girl to Cambodia.

According to police records, with the trick of advertising "light work, high salary", Di and Duong and a number of other suspects used social networking sites to lure and sell people from Vietnam to Cambodia for personal expenses.

On December 23, Di and Duong lured a girl under 16 years old, residing in Phuoc Long District (Bac Lieu) to Tay Ninh Province and sold her to Cambodia. Later, when Di and Duong were preparing to take another group of people to Cambodia, they were checked and caught red-handed by the police.

The case is currently being further investigated and clarified by the Criminal Police Department, Bac Lieu Provincial Police.
