Arrested man who murdered ex-wife

On the evening of April 12, the Investigation Police Agency - Gia Lai Provincial Police coordinated with professional units to arrest Ngo Van Tiep (36 years old, residing in Ia Lau commune, Chu Prong district).

Ngo Van Tiep is the suspect in the murder of his ex-wife, Nguyen Thi Hien (36 years old) at a motel in Ia Lau commune on the night of April 10.

After committing the crime, Tiep drove away from the scene on his motorbike. Ms. Hien was then taken to the emergency room by local residents but died before arriving at the hospital. The autopsy results determined that the victim died with 13 wounds on her body.

The Investigation Police Agency - Gia Lai Provincial Police has issued a decision to search for Ngo Van Tiep and requested the police of provinces and cities across the country and the police of localities in Gia Lai province to coordinate in the search.

By the evening of April 12, through reconnaissance work, the police force coordinated to arrest Ngo Van Tiep while he was hiding in Mang Yang district, Gia Lai province.

After committing the crime, Ngo Van Tiep drove his motorbike away from the scene.

It is known that Tiep and Ms. Hien are husband and wife, have 2 children but have been divorced for nearly a year. During their time living together, the two often had conflicts because Tiep suspected his wife had another man.
