Arrest of fugitive from execution of sentence, seizure of guns, bullets and prohibited substances

(QNgTV)- On August 13, Kon Tum Ward Police, Quang Ngai Province announced that they had just coordinated with Dak Cam Ward Police to arrest Do Anh Tuan, born in 1992, residing in Dak Cam Ward, who was evading serving a prison sentence for the crime of "Theft of property".

Upon checking Tuan’s house, the authorities discovered a pistol and 14 bullets hidden in the bedroom. Tuan confessed that a friend had sent him the weapons. The police made a record of the arrest of the offender for “Illegal possession of military weapons” and sealed the evidence.

Expanding the investigation, the police identified the two people who gave the gun to Tuan. Upon checking the residence of these two people, the authorities discovered a set of drug paraphernalia, 3 plastic bags containing white crystals suspected to be methamphetamine with a total weight of about 1.7 grams, along with many related exhibits. Both said that the gun was given to them by a 17-year-old teenager for repair, and the bullets were purchased online to test the gun.

The police have summoned all those involved to clarify the origin of the weapons and continue the investigation.
