Previously, at 12:00 on July 9, Xuan Thoi Son Commune Police received, prepared an initial file and coordinated with Xuan Thoi Son Commune People's Committee to receive information from Mr. Tran Van Hieu (born in 1988, owner of a coffee shop in Xuan Thoi Son Commune) to report the incident.
At around 1:15 p.m. on July 8, Mr. Tran Van Hieu discovered a girl (about 4 years old), whose family he did not know, coming to the LV coffee shop run by his family.

The girl was playing with the children at the house next to the shop, but by evening she still had not returned home and no relatives had come to pick her up... At around 8:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Hieu took the girl to the Xuan Thoi Son Commune Police Station to report and ask for help finding the girl's parents.
At 12 noon on July 9, the Commune Police received the child, made an initial record and coordinated with the People's Committee of Xuan Thoi Son Commune to verify the child's identity. Because the child could not remember his home address and could not provide information about his parents or caregivers, it was difficult to determine his place of residence.
The People's Committee of Xuan Thoi Son commune has directed the Department of Culture and Society to coordinate with the Women's Union of the commune, the Commune Police and the People's Committees of the hamlets to widely announce on the local radio system, and at the same time check the area to find relatives. However, up to now, no relatives have come forward to claim the child.
To ensure the child's safety while awaiting verification, the People's Committee of Xuan Thoi Son commune coordinated with relevant units to make a record and send the child to the Social Protection Center for temporary care and nurturing.
The notice of the Commune People's Committee is posted at the Commune People's Committee headquarters and announcement points in the area for 7 days, from July 16 to July 22. During this time, anyone who is a relative of the child, please contact the People's Committee of Xuan Thoi Son Commune (address: No. 1A Le Thi Kim, Xuan Thoi Son Commune, Ho Chi Minh City); call the Commune Police on duty at 028 38910078 or Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - civil servant in charge of children in the commune - number 0392317829 for instructions.
After the listing period ends, if no relatives come to work, the People's Committee of Xuan Thoi Son commune will carry out procedures according to regulations to continue bringing the child to the Social Protection Center and proceed to register the birth of the lost girl according to the law.
