FV Hospital achieves JCI Gold Seal for the 4th time

Currently, only about 1,000 major hospitals worldwide have achieved the JCI Gold Seal. In Vietnam, the number of hospitals achieving this certification is also very small, with FV alone achieving it 4 times in a row.

FV Hospital achieved the Golden Seal for the fourth consecutive time.

“Achieving JCI accreditation is very difficult, not only in Vietnam but also in developing countries,” emphasized Dr. Jean-Marcel Guillon, General Director of FV Hospital.

The difficulty that the FV General Director mentioned during the JCI assessment process is demonstrated by the fact that JCI "scrutinizes" even the details of surgical scissors after use, put into the sterilizer, whether they are closed or opened. If the scissors are closed, they are not clean enough and must be opened to ensure complete sterilization.

“We are fully aware that such strictness to every detail is all for the sake of ensuring the highest safety and best treatment results for patients. Therefore, the entire hospital team has been working tirelessly for a long time to achieve each of the more than 1,200 strict criteria of JCI,” said a representative of FV.

Previously, FV Hospital achieved JCI certification for the first time in 2016, the second time in 2019 and the third time in 2022, following a 3-year cycle of re-evaluation with more than 1,200 strict criteria. FV achieved JCI certification for the fourth time with a near-perfect score.

At the JCI re-accreditation review, Mr. Antonio Silva-Pérez , Team Leader - Administrative Surveyor and TL congratulated FV Hospital for choosing and pursuing JCI quality for the past 15 years. "FV has a vision of not only becoming the leading hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, or Vietnam or Southeast Asia, but also a vision of becoming one of the best hospitals in the world... And you have really done it: FV has achieved nearly 1,200 points, which is almost the best level".

CEO Jean-Marcel Guillon said that JCI standards have become the norm in FV Hospital's daily operations over many years.

Meanwhile, the price at FV is only half that of hospitals in the above countries.
