Visiting the family of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Nhung (Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District) and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Su (Phuoc Ninh Ward, Hai Chau District), Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang warmly inquired and expressed deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and losses of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and their families in the cause of national liberation and reunification.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee wished Mother Nhung and Mother Suc a happy and healthy life, to be a spiritual support for her children and grandchildren. At the same time, she educated her children and grandchildren to continue the family's revolutionary tradition and continue to contribute to the overall development of the city.

Mother Nhung was awarded the State honorary title “VNAH Mother” by the President on December 17, 1994, and is also a Revolutionary Veteran. She has only one son, martyr Pham Van Thanh (Phu Thanh) - soldier of Battalion 91, Front 4; enlisted in June 1968, died in September 1968 while fighting.
Mother Su was awarded the honorary title of “VNAH Mother” by the President on July 13, 2007. Her husband was martyr Nguyen Van Tai - a guerrilla member of Phu Dien commune (now Que Xuan commune); participated in the January 1965 revolution, and died in April 1965 while on duty. Her son was martyr Nguyen Van Gioi - a guerrilla member of Phu Dien commune (now Que Xuan commune); participated in the April 1971 revolution, and died in October 1973 while on duty.

Visiting war invalids ¼ Ho Ngoc Tri (Thanh Binh ward, Hai Chau district) and war invalids ¼ Ngo Thi Hue (Thach Thang ward, Hai Chau district), Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang visited, wished them good health and hoped that the war invalids' families would continue to promote revolutionary traditions, teach their children and grandchildren to study, and contribute to the cause of building an increasingly prosperous city.

Mr. Ho Ngoc Tri is a 1/4 disabled veteran (86% of body damage), retired. Mr. Tri enlisted in November 1976, was Squad Leader of Unit C11, D3, Regiment 1, Division 2, Military Region 5; injured in December 1978 during combat.
Ms. Ngo Thi Hue is a 1/4 disabled veteran (81% of body injury), a Hero of the People's Armed Forces, a resistance fighter captured and imprisoned by the enemy, a resistance fighter infected with toxic chemicals, retired. Ms. Hue joined the revolution in 1955, was a grassroots cadre of the Da Nang City Police; was injured in July 1967 while on duty. She is currently living with her husband, Mr. Tran Viet Tri, a 2/4 disabled veteran (61% of body injury), a resistance fighter captured and imprisoned by the enemy, retired.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang kindly inquired about the health of April 1 war invalid Ngo Thi Hue.
At the families, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang requested units and localities to continue to pay attention and take good care of policy families, to repay the great sacrifices of the previous generation for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
On this occasion, on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang sent gifts from the Deputy Prime Minister to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Nhung and war invalid Ho Ngoc Tri.
