On November 29, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee had a working session with the Standing Committee of Khanh Vinh District Party Committee on the implementation of political tasks, socio-economic development tasks in the first 11 months of 2024 and directions and tasks for the last month of the year. According to the report at the working session, in the work of Party building, Khanh Vinh District Party Committee has focused on closely following the reality and orientation of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and focused on leading and directing Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the district to deploy studying, thoroughly grasping, propagating and developing plans to effectively implement resolutions and directives of the Party, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department in accordance with each locality and unit. The work of building and consolidating grassroots party organizations and improving the quality of cadres and party members has been focused on synchronously and effectively implementing.

Working scene.

In recent times, the district has continued to synchronously and effectively implement national target programs for the period 2021 - 2025, including: National target program on new rural construction, National target program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, National target program on sustainable poverty reduction. Notably, since the beginning of the year, the whole district has reduced 468 poor households; currently, poor households account for 11.7%, near-poor households account for 10%.

Health care for the people, education, policy and social work continue to receive attention and are effectively implemented. National security and religious security in the area are maintained. Local defense and military tasks are seriously implemented, national security and defense in the district are ensured.

In the preparation for the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the Khanh Vinh District Party Committee has issued a plan to implement Directive No. 35 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term and organize dissemination and implementation; issued decisions to establish sub-committees to prepare for the 20th District Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; issued a plan to organize model congresses of branches and grassroots Party Committees, guide the preparation of political reports of branches and grassroots Party Committees; at the same time, issued documents to promptly lead, direct and propagate related contents...

Concluding the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh highly appreciated the results achieved by Khanh Vinh district in implementing the socio-economic development tasks in the first 11 months of 2024 as well as since the beginning of the term. In particular, the district has closely followed the policies, orientations and resolutions of the province, especially closely following the key targets and tasks of the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term to effectively implement, many targets and tasks have been excellently completed; at the same time, it has done a good job of preparing for party congresses at all levels towards the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, the district should focus on research to plan economic development for the whole region, focusing on developing the agricultural economy; develop a sustainable poverty reduction project, clearly identify resources and solutions for implementation and consider these as important political tasks in the coming term; Focus on the work of restoring, preserving and promoting national cultural identity, considering this as a potential and strength in developing community tourism; do a good job of labor distribution to have policies and strategies to support vocational training and introduce suitable jobs for the subjects to increase income for people; raise awareness, change the thinking and development aspirations of civil servants and people... Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh emphasized that in planning the economic development of the whole region and building a sustainable poverty reduction project, it is necessary to assess the potential, strengths, culture, human resources, breakthrough solutions, promote mechanization in agricultural production, call for attracting strategic investors, orient vocational training, orient production and consumption of products, support suitable livelihoods, promote good propaganda and mobilization for people to agree, respond and implement effectively...

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh presented support to Khanh Vinh district to build 100 houses in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
