On the morning of July 27, commemorating the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), a working delegation of the province led by comrade Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to people with revolutionary contributions in Hoa Binh city. The delegation included comrade Nguyen Van Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and Hoa Binh city.

The Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation visited and presented gifts to outstanding people, including: Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Cho, born in 1926 in Hamlet May 2, Hoa Binh Commune; People's Armed Forces Hero Pham Minh Giam, born in 1949 in Group 15, Phuong Lam Ward; Labor Hero, War Invalids Tran Van Cuong, born in 1948 in Group 19, Tan Thinh Ward.
Visiting mother Nguyen Thi Cho, the Provincial Party Secretary and members of the delegation kindly asked about, encouraged and were happy that she was still clear-minded and healthy. At the same time, they expressed their respect and deep gratitude for her contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification. They wished her a happy and healthy life with her children and grandchildren, forever being a shining example,educating the revolutionary tradition for the younger generation.

At the family of People's Armed Forces Hero Pham Minh Giam and Labor Hero, War Invalids Tran Van Cuong, the Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation visited, presented gifts, and expressed gratitude for the contributions of the previous generation to the cause of national liberation struggle, construction and protection of the Fatherland. He wished to continue receiving the contributions of the Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes to build the city and Hoa Binh province to develop, worthy of the sacrifice of their predecessors.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested that functional departments, branches, local Party committees and authorities, with the moral tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude", well implement the Party and State's policies towards people with revolutionary contributions, especially taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of martyrs, war invalids and sick soldiers to partly alleviate the losses and show gratitude for the great contributions of previous generations.
