According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, tonight, July 23, the tropical depression has strengthened into a storm, with the international name Co-may (Co-may) - 1 of 10 storm names proposed by Vietnam in the list of storm names of the Asia- Pacific Regional Storm Committee. This is the 4th storm in the East Sea in 2025. Storm No. 4 is forecast to have very little chance of directly affecting our mainland.

Central East Sea area and sea area from Khanh Hoa to Lam Dong: strong southwest winds level 6, gusts level 7-8; rough seas; waves 2.0-3.5m high.
Gulf of Tonkin, Northern and Central East Sea (including Hoang Sa special zone): showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
On the night of July 24 and 25, the eastern sea area of the North East Sea: continued strong winds of level 6-7, near the center of the tropical depression, strong winds of level 8, gusting to level 10; waves 2.0-4.0m high; rough seas.
• Sea area from Khanh Hoa to Lam Dong, Central East Sea area: strong southwest wind level 6, gusting to level 7-8; waves 2.0-4.0m high; rough sea. Natural disaster risk level: Level 2, especially sea area east of North East Sea area level 3. Danger for ships due to tornadoes, strong winds and big waves.

Northern region: on the night of July 23, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain; from July 24, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain.
Thanh Hoa and Nghe An areas: scattered showers and thunderstorms; from July 24, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain.

Weather changes from 3-10 days: Northern region: on the night of July 25, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. On July 26, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. From around July 27, there will be localized heat.
From Thanh Hoa to Hue: in the evening and at night, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms until around July 26. In Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms on the night of July 25, with some places having very heavy rain. From around September 28, there is a possibility of widespread heat.
South Central Coast: showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night, sunny days, some places are hot; especially the area from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa from around September 28 is likely to have widespread heat.
Central Highlands and Southern region: scattered showers and thunderstorms; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
