Construction is a field in Japan that has had a high demand for Vietnamese interns in recent years.

Specifically, the recruitment field is manufacturing and construction for men aged 18-30 (born from 1993 to 2005), graduated from high school or equivalent or higher.

Candidates will go through 3 rounds of selection:

  • Round 1: Math test with a total of 20 questions, 45 minutes, maximum score of 100. The required score for candidates choosing an internship in the manufacturing industry is 60 or higher, and for the construction industry is 40 or higher. Only those who meet the requirements of round 1 can take the next rounds.
  • In round 2: candidates will be tested for body, vision, color vision and physical strength. The standard required for candidates is to do 35 push-ups, 25 sit-ups and run 3,000 m in 18 minutes.
  • Round 3: Candidates will be interviewed to assess personal aspirations, practical experience, and style.

These exams are mandatory requirements from the partner to ensure that workers have certain knowledge, attitude and health to be able to meet the requirements of the job.

If selected, candidates will receive 6 months of Japanese language training and necessary knowledge training in Hanoi before leaving the country. When working in Japan, workers will receive a salary according to the contract after deducting taxes, insurance and housing costs of about 18-20 million VND/month (excluding overtime pay).

After completing the internship program and returning to Vietnam on time, trainees will receive support from IM Japan from 600,000 yen (completing 3 years of internship) to 1 million yen (completing 5 years of internship), equivalent to 120-200 million VND to start a business. At the same time, trainees will receive a pension insurance payment of about 80 million VND after 3 years of internship.

Candidates for the technical intern program can download the entire application form from the Overseas Labor Center's website (www.colab.gov.vn) in the form download section and submit their application directly or by post by June 30.
