'Digital literacy will lead young people to exploit new knowledge'

At the conference, leading expert in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), Mr. Le Cong Thanh, Chairman and General Director of Information Selection Technology Joint Stock Company, shared and discussed about the application of AI in Youth Union work for more than 300 Youth Union officials from the province to the grassroots level.

Within the framework of the program, Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union launched the "Digital Literacy" movement with the goal of popularizing technological knowledge and improving digital skills for Youth Union members and children in the province.

In particular, in order to create conditions for Youth Union officials to approach AI systematically, the Provincial Youth Union has awarded 500 "AI Training" scholarships worth 1 billion VND to Youth Union officials at all levels.

These scholarships will help Youth Union officials have the opportunity to study and practice modern AI tools, apply them to propaganda work, data management and innovate Youth Union operations in the digital age.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vu Gia Dan, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union, said that "Digital Education for the People" is not simply about popularizing technology but also an opportunity for Youth Union officials to pioneer in digital transformation, leading young people to exploit new knowledge, contributing to the overall development of the locality and the country.

"With the attention of technology experts, the participation of the reporting team and the vanguard spirit of young people, the "Digital Education for the People" movement promises to create a wave of learning and widespread application of technology, contributing to building a generation of knowledgeable, proactive and creative Youth Union officials in the 4.0 era," Mr. Dan emphasized.

On this occasion, Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union also completed the provincial youth theory club for the period 2025 - 2027.
