According to Mr. Nguyen Bay, Director of the Investment Promotion Center of Binh Dinh province (under the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Dinh province), the province focuses on attracting domestic and foreign investors with strong potential and brands to invest in key projects belonging to five main pillars: industry; tourism; high-tech agriculture; port and logistics services; and urban economy associated with the urbanization process. Priority is given to attracting projects with modern technology, high intellectual content, environmental friendliness, efficient resource utilization, and products with competitive advantages.

The People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has signed a memorandum of cooperation with AHK Vietnam.
From May 31st to June 3rd, a delegation led by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, Pham Anh Tuan, collaborated with the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association in Sakai City (Osaka Prefecture, Japan) to organize an Investment Promotion Conference in Sakai City, attended by over 40 Japanese businesses. To date, Binh Dinh province has attracted 19 projects from Japanese investors and businesses (accounting for 22% of the province's total FDI projects), with a total registered investment capital of 94.17 million USD.
Leaders of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province and Osaka province agreed to strengthen cooperation in investment and business, especially promoting key sectors that Binh Dinh province is focusing on, including: manufacturing and processing industry, tourism services, logistics and transportation, high-tech agriculture , and urbanization; developing all sectors with sustainable development as the top priority.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province will organize a conference to promote investment among Japanese businesses in Binh Dinh in July this year. Many local leaders and business representatives from Japan have already accepted the invitation to attend the conference in Binh Dinh.
Last April, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, also led a delegation to the Federal Republic of Germany to organize an Investment Promotion Conference with the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and to work with PNE Group, Kurz Group, and SAP software group…

Dr. Manuel Hertel, Deputy Executive Director of the Nuremberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, stated that the organization has over 140,000 member companies and 5,000 entrepreneurs, and is ready to introduce businesses to explore the investment environment in Binh Dinh province. Meanwhile, Mr. Bjoern Koslowski, Deputy Head of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam), affirmed that he and AHK businesses will visit Binh Dinh to survey and explore investment opportunities.
Besides Japan and Germany, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province also organizes a number of investment promotion activities, both in person and online, with business organizations and investors in major economies such as South Korea, Singapore, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Thailand…

Recently, Binh Dinh province has been developing rapidly with the arrival of many large investors such as Bamboo Capital, FLC, VinaCapital, Hung Thinh Group, Saigontourist Group, etc. FPT Group also has many projects in Binh Dinh, including: a research, production, and training center complex for technology experts covering more than 15 hectares with an investment of over 2,000 billion VND; FPT's Artificial Intelligence Center project in Quy Nhon with a scale of approximately 94 hectares and a total investment of over 4,362 billion VND; FPT University Quy Nhon... TMA Solutions is building the TMA Binh Dinh Innovation Park covering 15.7 hectares. Becamex IDC Corporation is investing in the construction of the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Zone, covering an area of 1,425 hectares; PNE Group (Federal Republic of Germany) is surveying for the construction of an offshore wind farm project in Binh Dinh province with a registered capital of over 4.6 billion USD…

According to Mr. Nguyen Bay, Binh Dinh province has continuously implemented administrative procedure reforms, proactively reducing the total time for completing administrative procedures in the investment sector from 32 days to 25 days. In the future, Binh Dinh province will continue to strengthen the improvement of the investment and business environment and reform administrative procedures to prioritize attracting investment in key economic sectors, creating breakthroughs for the province's economic growth. At the same time, it will thoroughly apply the highest preferential mechanisms and policies within the framework stipulated by the Government for investment projects in the province.

"Binh Dinh continues to focus on attracting small and medium-sized investors with clean and advanced technologies from Japan, South Korea, especially European countries and some other developed countries, to accelerate the filling of the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and other industrial parks and clusters in the province. The provincial leaders are committed to actively coordinating and supporting investors in completing administrative procedures, resolving difficulties and obstacles, and creating conditions for projects to be implemented smoothly and quickly put into operation," Mr. Bay said.
